Got all new belts the correct size for the U/R crank pulley. Tightened them pretty well as some said loose belts caused a squeal.1st time the belt broke it was the alt/waterpump -cause was alt not adjusted properly by the guy helping me so put a new belt on. Squealing continued but after idle air elect connector calmed idle down squeal almost went away. Then after everything was replaced with all new correct belts sizes and tightened. i thought all was well. Well I started the car the next morning as I had worked most of the night putting new belts. and the Air conditioner belt jumped off. I had to go to work so I cut the air conditioner belt since it's not hot yet. Started up the car and was adjusting the idle with the headlights fogs and economy air on. YES the alternator failed to produce power to recharge the battery. Now Ive got the new air condition belt and a new alternator to install. I'm going to check all alignment of pulleys, and belt tensions and hope this fixes the sqeual and throwing belts. will report back after this. It may be the idler pulley but it seems to rotate fine, air conditioner spins fine with engine off. It may be I'll be replacing the power steering, air conditioner, and idler pulley!!!! Jon
